Isaiah 43: A reminder that new things are coming
Hello Friends,
I think there are so many times where we look at our current situations and we begin to believe that there is no way any good could ever come from it. We fix our eyes on the past and what used to be.
Isaiah 43 says this- “But forget all that- It is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
These verses both challenge me and encourage me. It is not an easy thing to leave the past in the past. I think sometimes clinging to the past becomes a security blanket in our lives because we are too afraid to step into something new. BUT be encouraged in the fact that the Lord sees what’s ahead and He will make a way when it seems impossible. We just have to be willing to TRUST Him and follow His leading.
So, what is something this week that you need to let go of? Lay it all at the feet of Jesus and follow Him into the new thing He has for you.
Praying over you all!
Blessings,
