Made for Community
The importance of community has been heavily on my heart and mind recently. Well, it always is, but it has felt weightier recently. So I am reaching out to remind you to not do life alone. We were MADE to be in community with one another. We are CALLED to help carry one another’s burdens. We cannot do life alone.
There is a shift that happens when you make the choice to invite people in to your daily life, your struggles and your celebrations and you choose to keep Jesus at the center of your community. How cool is it that we get to encourage one another, walk through life together and continually point people to our creator all at the same time!
If you are looking for community there are 2 things I always point people towards-
- Join a small group! We have so many options to choose from here at WSFC, and what perfect timing, because Tuesday small groups launch on October 7th!
- Find somewhere to serve. Jump in! Serving is an incredible place to get out of your normal row and meet new people! We always have a spot for you in Kids Ministry :)
You may also find your self in a season of prayer and waiting as you long for a community. I would absolutely love to parter with you in prayer, just let me know!!!
