You may forget the weight of this scripture!

HELLO FRIENDS,
John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
A verse so often read or recited but a verse that we tend to forget the weight of. Every year around Easter we remember the weight of the sacrifice Jesus made, but as the months go by it's easy to forget.
How absolutely incredible is it that our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent His son to die the most horrific death for us. He took on our sin, shame and mistakes and made the ultimate sacrifice. BUT THEN he didn't just stay in that grave. He rose again on the third day, and because of that we get the opportunity to live in relationship with our Creator.
So my reminder for you today is to remember the weight of the sacrifice and to be a people that daily live in gratitude for that. I also want to remind you that you are SO incredibly loved by our God. Not for your accomplishments or successes but simply for who He created you to be. Let's walk in that love and grace and use that to continuously point others to Him.
Blessings,
Emily Pursel
