Remain in Me

HELLO FRIENDS,

I don’t have something long or theological to share with you today, but I did want to share a song that has really been hitting home for me recently. It’s a song called “Tend” by Bethel Music. 

The song uses the metaphor of God being the gardener of our hearts. Getting rid of the things that cause us to rot and whither, and sustaining us with things that bring life and growth. 

The bridge of the song is taken directly from John 15 and just says “I’ll remain in you, you’ll remain in me.” So that’s just my encouragement this week to you. Remain in the lord and seek out him as your filter. 

What things need to be thrown away in your life? what things are life giving? Bring those both to the feet of Jesus and be amazed how much he will do with your surrender!
